A Young Musicians Collective

Musically Diverse

Musically Diverse is a young musicians collective from across the world. We are all passionate about the power of music, as makers, learners and young thinkers. We are young students in different parts of the world, from Assam and New Delhi in India, to Kenya; from Russia to Italy and in the United States. We learn and practice different musical instruments or vocal music from different traditions, but our common passion is music.

We come together from our different roots and cultures to be a mosaic of the Diversity of our beautiful world. As the modern world faces challenges of wars and pandemics, we believe that as young musicians we can share our beautiful, diverse music, the soundscapes of our cities, its music makers, and work towards social impact.

The idea of Musically Diverse was inspired by

Revant Mehta's TEDx Talk

The idea of Musically Diverse was inspired by Revant Mehta’s TEDx Talk, in which he sets forth to ‘think’ through music. Revant is the founder of Musically Diverse, and in his TEDx Talk he talks about how he understands the biodiversity of nature through his diverse musical roots. As a young adult in the modern world he feels, that the challenges of globalization are best balanced by creativity and music. Music to him is a vital tool to grasp the world, re-imagine its future and create a treasure of well being and new ideas.
