Adarsh Jain

Hi, I’m Adarsh Jain.
Music for me is everything, I believe it gives peace to me as well as my environment. Without it, I feel that there is no purpose to a lot of things. Music is my way to express myself and my feelings, it is my way of expressing myself and being able to relate myself to other people around me.

I like to sing because it makes me feel good and I think that singing makes me realise that I am part of something bigger than myself. My interest in classical music came from Mr J. C. Mishra (my guruji) introducing me to music. He is an music guru and through our ‘guru shishya parampara’ he made me realise my potential and taught me what to sing and how to sing. He made me realise how special classical music is.

My guruji, Mr. Jayesh Chandra Mishra is a professional music guru and he has a lot of knowledge about classical music which he wishes to spread all over the world. He knows how to play the keyboard, tabla, tanpura, dholak, congo, violin as well as guitar. He has been awarded multiple awards from the DPS Society, PIET, Danik Bhaskar and Smriti Irani Human Resources Development Ministry.

In fact, I also have a very keen interest in rap music. My interest in rap music arose from coming across the rapper ‘Divine.’ His words touched my soul and his story is very inspiring. His father was non supportive of what he did, his mother had to work abroad and they were poor. There was a lot of struggle in his life but his talent and hard work gave him a fame.
